To begin this post let me say that I have little or no interest in connecting with or having any kind of romantic ideas about any ladies from the Russian region ( includes the Ukraine) or related former soviet bloc areas.
I do not understand nor have I any feelings at all for the language or related languages. And if you can not communicate with someone or whatever communication you manage to have is misunderstood or misinterpreted, what is the point? Life is difficult enough.
Some years back, for about a year I was dating a nice looking lady from Poland she had a wonderful bright 12 year old son. They both spoke English, when they felt like it. But I was just as often left in the dark about what on earth they talked about, it became actually quite annoying after a while.
All I remember today about this beautiful lady and her super intelligent young lad is the fact that they constantly spoke in polish...they also appeared to eat pickles with every meal. But that was OK.
My suggestion? Unless you are prepared to learn at least part of the language of the partner you are interested in, I would recommend you rethink the situation...if not, the whole scene will more than likely end in disappointment.
Back to my question...Why do I bother?
Week after week I have been e- mail hammered with requests by nice looking females to say hi..or something like that.
A number of them were obviously scammers from Nigeria or Ghana, some connection simply language translation scams and or from girls/ladies young enoug to be my grandkids ( which I tried to tell them)..
